Feel the Connections of Life
As an ART + TECH Producer, I am driven by a single pursuit: to create experiences that can only be encountered by being physically present in a particular place.
When I served as Chief Planning Director of the Signature Pavilion “INOCHI no Akashi” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, I sought to create a space where people could face one another and witness the moment when genuine human emotions begin to move and resonate.
At the Theme Pavilion of the Horticultural Expo, we will invite visitors to experience—through the presence of plants—the living connections that sustain what might be called the “real world,” a world supported by countless forms of life. Plants, as the central protagonists, offer a gateway to sensing this vast web of relationships with the whole body.
Here, the traditionally flat medium of television is liberated into three-dimensional space. The hidden world beneath the soil, the unique timescale of plants, and other unseen dimensions of life will unfold dynamically through immersive environments. Created together with the NHK Group, this powerful and encompassing world can only be experienced by visiting the site itself—an experience truly one of a kind.
From Yokohama to the world, we invite you to encounter a new “landscape of tomorrow,” where the baton of life continues to be passed forward. We hope you will experience it here with us.
